  • "I was traveling across country when I noticed an unusual noise from the bike. I checked the belt and discovered that was not centered, and riding of the side of the pulley. I dropped in at the Smoky Mountain Indian dealership without an appointment to ask if they could center the belt. Cameron, the service manager, got me in immediately and had me back on the road within 30 minutes. Thanks again for your awesome customer service and my piece of mind for the rest of my tour."

  • "I was coming to the area for only a few days so I decided not to drag my bike up and to rent one to ride in the mountains (I live in the vast sea level flatlands called Florida!). When I called to find out all the details I spoke with Deanna who was super knowledgeable and super nice!!! Upon arriving at the dealership I was amazed at the size and layout, just a beautiful store!!! Knowing I had only one day to ride Deanna took awesome care of me and had me on the bike in no time!!!
    After getting back to where I was staying I realized I had left my prescription sunglasses in the saddlebag!!! I called first thing and asked Deanna if she could have someone check the bags before it went out on rental. She said I’ll go check, hold on, sure enough they were there but the black soft bag they were in blended in perfectly with the black saddlebag! Just can’t say enough about the folks at Smoky Mountain Indian, thank you for a great hassle free experience!!!"

  • "I had a rough running/missing under load while passing by Smoky mtn Indian. I thought it was another bout of water in the gas. Id been intermittently having this issue since 85,000 miles on my 18 RM. It was now at 132,000 in Aug, 2020. Id had the dealers in Spokane, Wa., Albuquerqe Nm., Elkhart In., and Sanford, Fl. Look at it for the same problem, but it kept having issues.
    Corey, at Smoky mtn Indian listned to the symptoms and diagnosed a fuel pump issue. They pulled the pump and found a plugged filter. They installed a new pump and I was on my way. This was all done on a bike during a road trip, so I didn't have an Appt.
    Its now early Sept, 2020. The bike has 145,000 miles and no more rough running.
    I'd like to give a big shout out to Corey for correcting a long term issue and the entire Smoky mtn service dept for taking in a weary traveller even while short staffed, and getting me back on the road."

  • "I was on a long bike trip from Ohio. I thought my back tire was in better condition than it was. Two thousand miles into the trip i noticed my tire had worn to a slick. I still had 1000 miles to go and needed a back tire that very day. I called Steel Horses and they said they would get me in that day. I was able to get there safely and they got to work on my bike right away. The service was excellent and they gave me a break on the tires. I bought a front as well. I'm grateful for the quick, friendly, and accommodating service. I will definitely stop back in and spend some money next time I'm in that area. A big Thanks to the guys in the service department! You all kick ass!"

  • "A group of us were down from Pennsylvania to ride the dragon. When my Indian Roadmaster started throwing codes. We went to Smoky Mountain Steel Horses. I talked with Cameron and told him my problem. He took my bike back to the service bay with in ten minutes. The mechanic started to check my bike out. What he found was a loose battery cable. He tighten the cable and checked the bike with the computer and that was the problem. My bike was fixed and I was on my way within an hour. Now I know they just can't drop everything every time someone comes in with a problem, but that day they did. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. the cost was very reasonable. They are definitely are a great dealership. If I didn't live so far away Smoky Mountain would be my dealer. I can't thank them enough. I also bought 3 Tee shirts while I was there. When we come down next year were goin to stop over and say hi. Great dealership with Great people."

    Cameron and all workers were super. I was stranded with flat tire and they immediately took me in though at the end of the day and they had not had a break yet. I am a visitor to Smokies from Flint, Michigan and therefore not a regular yet they cared for me as though I am a regular customer. They put new tire on within 1 hour and 1/2 and I was on my way. These are great guys and I appreciate them very much.
    Cameron helped me a great deal as well as the service staff.

Everyone, including Mike Murray, was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I'm saying this because I've been to Harley, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki (you get my drift, I've been there) this by far was the best group of guys I've ever met at a dealership. I have bought several vehicles in my life and Kenny made it by far the best experience. Also the service employee, I apologize for not remembering his name, was great as well. I am terrible with names. He took the time to answer questions for me and was genuine in his answers. I left there and have still had to contact Kenny.   • "I recently got my motorcycle endorsement and was looking for my first bike at age 65. After doing a great deal of research, I decided that the Indian Scout Sixty might be the motorcycle I was looking for. I stopped by your dealership where I met Kenney. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my questions. I ended up purchasing a black Scout Sixty with Trask slip on mufflers. Kenney had the exhaust shipped and installed in one day. The bike looks great and sounds awesome. I found the entire staff to be friendly, courteous and professional. I am completely satisfied with my Scout Sixty and my buying experience at Smoky Mountain Steel Horses.   • "Problem with my Ultra. 1 dealership said they didn't know what was wrong. Another dealership said no codes good to go. Your Justin diagnosed problem in 30 seconds on the phone. Stuck pressure relief valve. He tore it down cleaned it up he test rode it in a downpour. I got home 550 miles with no problem. Justin and Jason great to talk to. Counter guys friendly and helpful.Singing your praises."
